People often shorten it to Tom, and I don't correct them.
But inside I'm thinking, they just won't get all of me.
If I were to share my whole self, to include the complete Thomas, these people would have to understand, I am well schooled.
I have studied law and politics with a passion, realizing the power of public relations. And the strategy. It's part of who I am.
So when I have them all laughing at a party, and someone says, "Great joke, Tom!" I just smile and nod and tell another.
